DMCA.com has essentially two types of takedowns or cease and desist orders: Commercial and Personal.

A personal takedown is defined as:

a takedown containing information related to a specific person rather than company, organization, group or other entity owning copyright(s) to the content referenced within the takedown.

Examples of a personal takedown are:

1. personal pictures - often taken by the content owner, often containing the content owner
2. personal video - often taken by the content owner, often containing the content owner
